I just completed the entire game, and the update was really fantastic.

Even though you did say that chapter 2 is shorter, my playrun of chapter 2 still took around 2 hours (maybe because i did mess up a bit on gathering berries, and having to restart the sequence)

The way the characters interact are nice to read with a couple boob joke here and there.

A suggestion though, is to PLEASE advertise the game or atleast change the game thumbnail. I myself played the game only because it was under the breast expansion tag, and because this amazing game is overlooked, I want the game to be more popular.

As for the upcoming chapter, I'll be looking forward to it, especially sofia's now larger base and max sizes and the upcoming story conflict.

(+1)

Maybe I'll bump up the timeline to getting a proper title image (which would probably also act as a thumbnail) up a bit

I notice that 0.1 is larger is MB size compared to 0.2. Do I need to download the first version to not break anything, or is the second on just a bit more optimized?

No. It's just that I deleted unneeded assets for 0.2 whereas I included then for 0.1

gotcha, thank you

Just wanted to let you know that this game is really nice, I played through it and appreciate what is there. I really, in particular, loved the way you were approaching skills. 'Learning' the skill, in a natural, organic way, as opposed to unlocking a skill by leveling up, which is the more traditional thing for an RPG to do.

I hope that you continue this game, the B E aspect is nice, I like it, and having it be explained in lore is fun, it might feel more natural if other characters had this kind of thing happen, if the Elements, fire water, light, etc, had other aspects that can be explored....But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Good script, not perfect but good, helping the refugees was nice, the castle's layout was a little confusing, but not bad...Honestly, I really see this game becoming something big.

For a comparison, I'd compare this game to Renryuu. It reminds me of that game in a way, I hope yours can become as huge as that game is. I really look forward to it, and to any images that come in association with the theme. That said, whats here is very promising, the way you fleshed out characters, the introduction to lore, concepts, and so on, the explanation of things as simple as why the city was abandoned, these are good things I love to see in writing. It was fluid, understandable, I don't think I saw any typos...I want you to be proud of this work, Definitely eager to see more.

Nice!

The characters are sweet and I like how the gameplay change with some passage, that also serve the story well.

Read the file where you worry a lot. I think if you like it there will be people who like it too, and when there is people who don't you're still satisfied because you're proud of it and like it. It's what I felt after barely some games I made too while I was worrying.

For pictures, I am also terrible at drawing but also too shy to contact an artist, but you can find some free assets on the internet! You may have to edit them though. Like this that is Creative Common for example: https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/magicalnekolenlen/happy-nyuu-year

Wish you good luck! :)

This is a *fantastic* showcase of what you can do. I came to be aroused but it was especially my interest in the setting that grew. Okay, my metaphor is perhaps crass, but I stand firmly by  it. I expected a short and simple romp through some lewd scenes, not to be engaged in the story, the characters, their personalities and lives. You had me sit through a cafeteria line three times in a row, because that's what Sofia would do! And those seeds of things to come, Oto and his whole deal, making me feel for these heroes. I wait with bated breath the next updates, and wish you superb luck in seeing your project through to the happy ending~

(+3)

Thank you very much for enjoying it. Glad to know at least 1 person did the whole cafeteria event.

(+1)

You can count at least 2 now :P

(+2)

3 now. it was funny, It also didn't last long enough to be annoying or frustrating, In fact, I'd say every event in the game was timed quite nicely.

Will SFW ver ?

If you just want a version without pictures, that should be easy enough to implement.

(+3)(-31)

You could use AI for art, it's fairly easy nowdays

(+24)(-3)

No

(-29)

Heh. How funny. I will gladly look on how you'll drown in bog of development, which is going to be deeper cause of your decision. You're not the first.

(+12)

If someone wants to hand-draw their art, then awesome. If someone wants to use AI-generated content, so be it. Don't be an ass and harass someone just because of their artistic preference.

(-26)

I'm harrased regularly. Even by some people I'm  often talk to. There are plenty of people who will flick me like a bug from the table because I'm using neural networks to create, they don't even try to trust me, that I'm not another one slopper. After this I just don't want to go easy on people with other opinions.

I don't think that you will actually care about it, but maybe you will at least understand it.

(+3)(-2)

I'm so glad technology has enabled your lazy, brain-dead lack of creativity ^w^

(+6)

It's disturbing that you wish failure upon the developer simply because they didn't want to make use of a controversial tool.

They didn't even disparage it, yet you replied with such hostility!

To play devil's advocate; saying they'd get bogged down in development hell because drawing does by nature take some amount of time...It's an objective truth. So pointing it out isn't really 'hostile' per se... Though his attitude is clearly jaded, We need more levity and positive attitudes.

He said "I will gladly look on how you'll drown in bog of development" which isn't jaded. He is actively cheering the dev's and the game's misfortune. That's 100% hostile, and driven purely by the fact that the developer would prefer to use their own skills to develop the art assets instead of a machines. They didn't even disparage AI art, they just said they didn't plan on using it!

Also "drawing takes time therefore it leads to development hell" isn't an objective truth, not at all. Drawing your own art will extend time compared to stealing it yeah, but that doesn't automatically mean development hell. That's has a specific definition encampassing many issues like: scope creep, changing priorities, student syndrome, spaghetti code, shifting scope, and more. Saying drawing means development hell is like saying driving cars means car accidents. You can drive a car and never have an accident, and you can be involved in an accident whilst not driving cars. I've seen games with AI generated assets also enter development hell. And games with no art assets also face the same problem.

"Easy" doesn't mean "right."

In my opinion, the fights should be faster, really, RPG maker feel so slow today.  Every fight with the bandits was the same, and the slowness of the fight made it even more... boring. Overall I liked the game a lot, but really consider making the fights faster. More DMG, less hp? Any new combat  mechanics?

Could you also add WASD control?

Btw. i read the README. So, have you chose what to do with characters arts?

(+1)

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when it comes to combat. I'm hoping to update combat so that combat is faster. I want to keep it hard, but right now it's a slog. And there will definitely be more abilities, especially for Sofia, that will be sprinkled throughout updates and chapters.

I'll see what I can do. I'm still new, I'll see what I can do.

Right now, for the next update, it's probably just going to be something simple, just to get my foot (further) in the door. Just some images at the side of the screen showing Sofia's current size. Art is expensive and that alone will probably cost me $100+

As for the art, I don't want to promise anything, but I think I can help(?). Instead of 2D art or Koikatsu, you can actually use a 3D model and make renders. That would actually be more efficient. If you have a model, taking other poses/shots is not a problem.

And well,  currently I'm learning sculpting, and maybe I can help with that. Maybe it wouldn't be the prettiest, but it's still something, right? And for me it would be nicer to even show it to someone rather than keep it on my hard drive. If you're interested, maybe we can talk more at... uh, discord?

If you're offering to help, that definitely would be nice!

Yeah, something like that. I dont have fully complete sculpt (yet, im trying to make face less potato-shaped), but dm me at discord (anonus123). Maybe You will find it helpful

Make it a .apk because can't play in zi

(1 edit)

Yeah we want a APK not all of us can use joiplay

I think you still need Joiplay to use it, even as an APK.

But I'm figuring out how to actually make an APK file. I was hoping that RPG would do it automatically, but apparently not. Hopefully in a couple hours it (along with the rest of 1.1) should be available.

Just played it through in about an hour and it was decently fun. The fights weren't too difficult and the friends are wholesome ( for the most part). Sad about that one part, but pretty good so far, art would make it even better.

(+1)

Change android ver to .apk pls

(+1)

My question is

How to play in android? I don't understand

Joiplay

Running into a Game Over when switching to the female guard inside the Palace after the Stealth section with the male Guard. Playing on Windows.

(+2)

great idea for a game. i would recommend getting some art commissioned soon so we can get more of an idea of sizes and not just the sprites. switching the "bust" (get it) art to something that isnt just the head and maybe upper torso would also be a good path to take.

Fun game! Map size could probably be decreased but fun game. Maybe mix some art in there? I'm sure there's those out there that'd do it.

(+3)

Yeah, for the 0.1 release I just wanted to do everything myself, no 3rd party anything (outside of pointing out mistakes), and trust me you don't want me drawing people.

0.2 should have some art which I'm currently looking around for now.

I'm going to try to squeeze down the map, but that'll take a lot of work I know that much for sure.

There is a soft lock possible in the very first intro section. If the final textbox before the character walking off the screen happens to be to the left of the pillar, they will get permanently stuck walking to the right into the pillar.

Sadly, I got stuck in a soft lock.

During the attack on the Cleric Temple, when you get control of the female guard, she cannot move from her location.

(1 edit)

Are you stuck right after the cut scene ends? If that's what it is, I know what's going on and I should be able to patch it out.

Also may I ask if you're running it on android, mac, or whatever? I'm curious if this was a problem that happened because of it being on a different operating system than me.

Yes, that's when I got stuck. And Windows.

Okay, that's weird that it was happening to you and not to me. Should be fixed when the 0.1.1 patch comes out, I'm just waiting to hear other critiques before then.

how do you leave for the old city?

Firstly, you need to go back and talk to Ofsy/Rashi if you haven't already. After that, at the bottom of the old palace you should see a set of stairs, and if you go straight down from there you'll find your way out.

(1 edit) (+1)

We LOVE a game that releases with full accessibility, runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, AND Android. Since it's included in the games description, it'd probably be a good idea to add the breast-expansion tag to the game as well.
